Background:
22 years experience carving stone.
I'm am a third generation stone carver. I started working with stone at age six, alongside my father, part owner of an Indiana limestone mill. After completing high school, I began a stone carving apprenticeship. In 1980 I became a Journeyman Stone Carver, continued working full-time at the same stone mill and opened my own part-time studio in 1983. In 1998, I became self-employed full-time in my own studio and continue to produce unique sculptures and stone carvings.
