Background:
23 years experience carving stone.
Started learning to carve stone with master stonecarver, Vincent Palumbo at age 11. Worked with Vincent on and off for twenty years at the National Cathedral, Whitehouse, and numerous personal stonecarving projects.
1987 - 1992: Studied and received diploma in sculpture at Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara Stone, Carrara, Italy.
Specialties:
Marble, limestone, sandstone, granite.
- Primarily figurative, ornate, representational carving.
- Lettering, architectural carving.
- Portraits, statuary, artistic carving, sculpture.
